Celebrate New Year's Eve on Sydney Harbour aboard Capri on Emelie, a bring your own alcohol cruise on a stylish, recently refurbished event catamaran with two spacious, open-plan levels. Anchored in Lavender Bay for the night, she offers views of both the nine o'clock and midnight fireworks, away from the crowds on shore.
The alfresco upper deck features comfortable lounges beneath a generous shaded canopy, with harbour views all around and lighting that sets the mood once the sun goes down. Below, the main saloon has wraparound seating, a bar area for drinks and space to dance, while a New Year's Eve playlist keeps the vibe relaxed yet lively.
The evening starts with a welcome glass of sparkling wine, prosecco or a soft drink, followed by a barbecue dinner with fresh salads and cheese platters. Soft drinks flow all night, and for those bringing their own drinks, ice, glassware and cups are supplied, with the crew keeping everything chilled on both decks.
