A Tapestry of Country by Tracey Van Oploo

Worrowing Jervis Bay

A Tapestry of Country is a personal interpretation of cultural identity, shaped by Aboriginal traditions and expressed through abstraction. Painted in acrylic on canvas, these works reflect the coastline Tracey calls home: the vibrant blue waters, the sandy beaches, and the rich, colourful native landscape beyond the shore. For Tracey, family and Country cannot be separated. Each is a source of belonging, story, and strength, and each shape who she is. Through layered colour and flowing abstract forms, these paintings honour that deep connection and offer a contemporary way of seeing and sharing it. The gallery may occasionally be closed for private functions. Visitors are encouraged to check the gallery's website for the latest information before visiting.
