Geelong Carols by Candlelight 2026

Johnstone Park Geelong

The 63rd Geelong Carols by Candlelight will be held in Johnstone Park, continuing one of Geelong's longest-running and most loved community traditions. Supported by YMCA Geelong, volunteers and local community partners, this free family event brings together more than 4,000 people to enjoy an evening of local entertainment, traditional and contemporary carols, children's activities and shared celebration. The event showcases local performers and creates an inclusive, welcoming space for people of all ages and backgrounds to connect. At a time when cost-of-living pressures and social isolation are impacting many families and individuals, Carols by Candlelight provides free access to entertainment, community connection and a strong sense of belonging in the heart of Geelong.
