Brisbane folk pop singer-songwriter Liam Higgins brings his first national tour home to Brisbane, launching his debut EP with a full band of violin, bass and drums.
Expect warm, story-driven songs tracing a relationship from illusion and collapse through to healing. Higgins returned home to Queensland after three years in London and beyond, where he recorded with a string quartet from the Vienna Opera Ball Orchestra and played rooms from The Bedford to the famous Bluebird Cafe in Nashville.
His recent singles have earned national radio play and editorial playlist support. The Brisbane concert brings the tour to the Black Bear Lodge in Fortitude Valley, an intimate room at the heart of the city's live music scene, as the hometown launch of the record.
