Love, Life & the Other Circus | Exhibition Opening
Creative Room Art Space
Celebrate the opening of Love, Life & the Other Circus, a solo exhibition by award-winning Brisbane-based artist Olga Bakhtina, at Creative Room Art Space in West End.
Filled with vibrant colours, expressive figures and imaginative characters, the exhibition explores the beauty, humour and occasional absurdity of everyday life. Women and animals, lovers and dreamers, Venetian scenes and circus characters come together in paintings that move between reality and imagination.
Drawing inspiration from European modernism, Bakhtina combines bold brushwork, playful patterns and unexpected compositions to create distinctive visual narratives. Her paintings invite viewers to look beyond the familiar and imagine stories of their own.
The opening evening offers an opportunity to experience this colourful and thought-provoking exhibition while enjoying art and conversation in the welcoming atmosphere of Creative Room Art Space.
