The Festive Table Workshop with Natasha Morgan
Oak Lane & Co
Landscape architect, gardener and author Natasha Morgan brings armfuls from her Daylesford garden to Oak Lane and Co in Kyneton for a festive tablescaping workshop. For one morning the whole shop becomes your styling library.
Antique Australian, English and French furniture, old linen, silver, ceramics and glass are all there to handle and arrange. Among the armfuls is the red-stemmed dogwood Natasha cut back from the northern verge at Little Cottage on a Hill in the big spring chop and kept for exactly this, because nothing that beautiful goes to waste if she can help it. The rest is whatever her garden and the country lanes around Daylesford are offering in late spring.
Drawing on a lifetime in gardens and her time in floristry and events, Natasha shows how she composes a table and conditions branches, foliage and flowers so they last. Carla and Simon of Oak Lane and Co join Natasha as you choose your own pieces from the collection and build a complete festive table inside the shop, one that feels generous and abundant.
Morning tea is included, with Natasha's seasonal syrups alongside tea and coffee. Numbers are strictly limited so the morning stays intimate and hands-on. You'll leave with a festive wreath you've made yourself, and the know-how to set a table like this again at home with what you already have.
