Tokyo's Favourite Speakeasy JANAI COFFEE Takes Over at W Brisbane

Living Room Bar

Headlining their Japan Exchange here at W Brisbane they are pleased to reveal an exclusive residency by Tokyo's famous subterranean speakeasy JANAI COFFEE led by celebrated Head Bartender Kento Mukai. Kento will lead an exclusive two-night JANAI COFFEE takeover at Living Room Bar.. Known for precision, flavour extraction techniques, and artistic balance, Mukai will showcase a menu crafted around coffee, including a special edition 'cross culture' espresso martini that utilises JANAI'S original ingredients alongside Australian wild honey. The Tokyo speakeasy is an institution for culturally connected travellers that has been stirring up a buzz online for its clever secret-access entry ritual. Fronting as an unassuming, quiet neighbourhood coffee shop in Ebisu, only 'in the know' visitors hold the secret to unlocking entry into a hidden subterranean cocktail lounge, by solving a hidden puzzle on the JANAI COFFEE mobile site. Selected for their boundary-pushing mixology and mastery of intrigue, JANAI COFFEE brings its coveted underground atmosphere to Australia for the first time. Supported by their friends at Fuji Whiskey, ingredients have been carefully sourced to ensure a true, authentic Japanese cocktail experience.
