Musik Blok by NGAIIRE - WOMADelaide

Botanic Park / Tainmuntilla

Presented by renowned artist Ngaiire, Musik Blok showcases a new generation of Papua New Guinean acts on an international stage. The four-time ARIA-nominated artist founded Musik Blok after a return home left her with a desire to uncover the extraordinary talent that exists across PNG, but too often has no clear pathways into the music industry. Featuring Kazibuda, Roz, Tina Kara, MXV, Mr. Whoo, Brendan Lahui and Lamoa of Tora, this one-off performance is the first live realisation and international debut of Musik Blok, a platform created to support, develop and connect emerging PNG artists with the wider world. The artists will perform original music created during Musik Blok's inaugural songwriting and production lab in Goroka in 2026, where they worked alongside multi-Grammy Award nominee Nai Palm (Hiatus Kaiyote), California-raised hip-hop producer Cazeaux O.S.L.O., Arik Blum (Grid: Series), Ant Enoch (Caravãna Sun) and Solomon Islander/Australian producer SETWUN; who will be the Musical Director, helping to bring the songs from the lab to the stage.
