Cameron Jones Trio
Django at Camelot
Blending the musical traditions of France, American jazz and the lyricism of Italian melody, the Cameron Jones Trio brings a deeply personal voice to the world of Gypsy swing.
Their repertoire has grown organically through years of live performance, creating an ensemble that thrives on spontaneity, subtle interplay and the joyful energy that defines this music. Rooted in the legacy of Django Reinhardt yet unmistakably Australian, the trio's sound is shaped as much by time spent learning in France and the Netherlands as by late nights performing in the bars of Sydney's Inner West.
Every melody carries a sense of place and memory—from Parisian canals and gypsy campfires to intimate jazz clubs—inviting audiences into a warm, immersive listening experience where tradition and storytelling meet.
