Rain of Animals and Pirritu at Pearces Creek Hall
Pearces Creek Hall
Enjoy an evening of exceptional live music as Rain of Animals and First Nations singer-songwriter Pirritu take to the stage at the historic Pearces Creek Hall in the beautiful Ballina Hinterland.
Rain of Animals is the musical collaboration of Pepita Emmerichs (Oh Pep!) and Theodore Barnard (Wire & Wool), bringing together their shared love of bluegrass, old-time music, swing and acoustic storytelling. Blending mandolin, fiddle, guitar and beautiful vocal harmonies, the duo creates a distinctive sound that is both traditional and refreshingly original.
Having toured extensively throughout Australia, New Zealand, Europe and the UK, Rain of Animals bring their impressive musicianship and captivating arrangements to Pearces Creek as they celebrate the release of their second album, featuring original songs and instrumental compositions.
Joining them is Pirritu, a Ngiyampaa man and First Nations singer-songwriter whose gentle, heartfelt music explores themes of love, loss and hope. Through honest storytelling and beautiful melodies, Pirritu invites audiences on a deeply personal musical journey.
Set within the intimate surrounds of Pearces Creek Hall, this special performance promises an evening of rich acoustic sounds, moving storytelling and memorable live music.
