Romberg's Dirty Lunch

Romberg's

Clear the afternoon. There are Martinis to drink, caviar to order and salty things worth staying for. Romberg's Dirty Lunch brings together the fancy and the familiar, with a little nod to the man behind the bar's name. Architect, modernist and a man known for doing things a little differently, Frederick Romberg lends more than his name to the occasion. His well-travelled life inspires a trio of mini Martinis designed to start your Saturday properly chilled. From there, lean into the excess with salty, briny and indulgent plates designed for settling in and making an afternoon of it. An afternoon of excellent taste and questionable restraint. What's included: The Frederick Romberg Mini Martini Flight, a trio of mini Martinis inspired by the life and travels of the man behind the name. A progression of elevated bar snacks, from salty and briny to rich, indulgent and suitably substantial. Optional caviar add-on for those inclined. Rooftop views over Newcastle, naturally. Bookings essential. Bookings close 5pm Thursday for that Saturday.
