Gozar Gosford - A Celebration of Latino Culture
William St Plaza
Gozar Gosford is a free, all-ages outdoor celebration bringing the music, dance, food, colour and alegría of Latin America and Spain to the heart of Gosford's William Street Plaza.
This event shines a spotlight on a community that's already here and helping shape the future of our region. In fact, Spanish is now the second most spoken language after English on the Central Coast.
From Mexico to Cuba, Chile to Peru, Colombia to Brazil and Spain, Gozar Gosford showcases the diverse traditions, stories and flavours that make our Latino community so vibrant.
Expect live music, salsa, reggaeton, spectacular dance performances, authentic Latino street food, dance workshops, art, DJs and Club de Niños (Kids Club), plus plenty of opportunities to join the fun.
Featuring two incredible live acts:
Victor Valdes – A virtuoso Mexican-Australian harpist whose performances celebrate the rich traditions of mariachi and the vibrant rhythms of Latin America.
Selecta Orchestra – An high-energy Latin orchestra delivering salsa, bachata, cumbia and merengue with infectious rhythms and unforgettable dancefloor energy.
Whether you grew up speaking Spanish, have Latino heritage, recently made the Central Coast home, or simply love great food, music and dancing, Gozar Gosford is for you.
This project is delivered in partnership with Central Coast Council and proudly funded by the NSW Government through the NSW Social Cohesion Grants for Local Government
