Takashi Wakasugi - Wabi-Sabi Comedy - Rockhampton
Leichhardt Hotel
Star of Network 10's Taskmaster Australia.
As seen on the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Gala, Thank God You're Here, and Question Everything.
Japanese comedy boy Takashi thinks stand-up comedy is similar to samurai.
You are always alone on the stage. Kill or die. Better to be sharp and quick but also think about the space and the distance. It looks simple but is complicated. Thinking a lot but pretend to think nothing. Sensitive and timid like a cat but solid and fearless like a large cloud. The spiral of gratitude, respect, despair and suffering.
A samurai tries to make his body and his sword one. Takashi tries to make himself and his jokes one. He puts his life and passion into this comedy show. Please don't miss any strokes of his jokes and souls.
Doors 7.30pm, Show 8pm.
