Learn to bind a book with bookbinder and conservator, Debra Parry.
In this full-day workshop, you will learn to create a hardbound book using basic hand tools and techniques.
You will learn about the qualities of different papers as you size, cut and compile the text block. You will cover the book board for the hard cover, insert the endpapers and stitch and glue the components into a completed volume.
At the end of the day, you will take your hardbound book and your newfound knowledge and skills home with you.
