Intermediate Tapestry Weaving Workshop
Australian Centre for Rare Arts and Forgotten Trades
Learn intermediate tapestry weaving techniques with tapestry weaver, Tim Gresham.
In this two-day workshop, you will learn the technique of hatching. Hatching is a creative technique used to model form and blend colour and make other visual effects in tapestries.
This workshop is appropriate for participants with some tapestry weaving experience who have completed Tapestry Weaving - Introduction or a similar beginner class. You will need to bring your own loom and bobbins with you.
At the end of the workshop, you will have warped your own loom and woven a sample that you can take home with you.
