In Time: an Immersive Maritime Mystery

Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village

In Time: an Immersive Maritime Mystery is a live, interactive historical experience where visitors become part of the story. Set within Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village, the experience transports participants to 19th century Warrnambool and the dramatic world of the Shipwreck Coast. Follow clues, solve puzzles, uncover hidden stories and interact with live performers as you work together to complete a maritime mission before time runs out. Along the way, you may encounter Alice Ellis, an upper-deck passenger searching for precious belongings salvaged from the wreck of the Schomberg; Sarah Trethowan, a steerage survivor with her own account of Captain "Bully" Forbes and the disastrous voyage; and lighthouse keeper Elizabeth Deverell, trying to keep the harbour running as history begins to unravel. Inspired by real people, shipwrecks and events from Warrnambool's past, this event blends theatre, history, mystery and puzzle-solving in a site-wide adventure through Flagstaff Hill. The experience is approximately 60 minutes. All ages welcome, with puzzles and deduction best suited to ages eight plus. Timed group departures every 15 minutes. Regular admission fees apply, with free entry for members of the Local Ambassador Program.
