Powerhouse Parramatta Opening Festival: Making Task Eternal
Powerhouse Parramatta
What does it take to create one of the most ambitious aerospace exhibitions in the world? Hear from collaborators behind Task Eternal as they reveal how the exhibition was shaped across 4 years with more than 120 Australian and international partners. Hear how First Nations Sky Knowledge formed the exhibition's conceptual foundation, learn from exhibition architects OPEN Architecture about the creation of its immersive spatial experience, and gain insight from Keegan Buzza (Australian Space Agency) and Brian Falzon (WSU) on how Australia's aerospace industry helped bring together more than 850 remarkable objects to share stories of humanity's enduring pursuit to fly, leave Earth, return.
This is an Auslan interpreted event.
Presented in partnership with Western Sydney University.
This event ticket includes free entry to the museum and 4 exhibitions: The Mall, The Dark, Overflow and Es Devlin: The Turning.
