Clothes Swap Society

FABRIK Arts + Heritage

Refresh your wardrobe sustainably at FABRIK's Clothes Swap Society, a free community event celebrating conscious fashion and the circular economy. Bring along 2 to 5 freshly laundered, high-quality women's clothing items and exchange them for the same number of "new-to-you" pieces. Whether it's a designer garment that no longer suits your style or a quality item ready for a second life, this is a fun and sustainable way to update your wardrobe while reducing textile waste. Participants will receive swap tokens matching the number of accepted items they bring. While garments are sorted, explore FABRIK's contemporary exhibitions, browse the curated retail store, or enjoy the cafés and hospitality offerings along Lobethal's charming main street. Before the swap begins, enjoy complimentary wine, nibbles and the opportunity to connect with fellow fashion lovers. Event Schedule 12:00pm to 1:00pm – Clothing drop-off and token collection 1:30pm to 2:00pm – Wine, nibbles and socialising 2:00pm to 4:00pm – Clothes swapping Accepted items include freshly laundered women's clothing. Remaining garments will be donated to the local CFS Op Shop. Join us for an afternoon of sustainable fashion, community connection and treasure hunting at FABRIK Arts + Heritage.
