PERSPECTA II - 7 Artists - LAND, SEA, RIVER, HOME
Studio 8 Currumbin
PERSPECTA II invites visitors to step into a continuing dialogue between artists and the environments that surround, shape and inspire us.
Bringing together six artists, Kieran Davis, Jane Brennan, Adam Buck, Esther McDougall, Kaz Hughes, Tony Wright and Tracy Gee, this exhibition explores the many ways we experience and interpret our connection to place.
From the shifting tides of the sea and the movement of rivers, to the landscapes we inhabit and the idea of home, each artist offers their own unique perspective on the environments that hold meaning for them.
Through a diverse collection of contemporary works, PERSPECTA II encourages us to pause and look at our surroundings differently to consider the landscapes beneath our feet, the waterways that move through them, the places we return to, and the sense of belonging we create within them.
Set within the light-filled space of Studio 8 Currumbin, PERSPECTA II offers an opportunity to experience these different perspectives side by side and to reflect on your own relationship with place.
Light refreshments served.
