For more than 100 years, the Ewan Races have brought together country racing, heritage and community, drawing people from near and far to experience the thrill of the gallop and celebrate the spirit of bush racing.
Now a huge two-day event, there's plenty to enjoy both on and off the track. Soak up the race day atmosphere, admire the fabulous Fashions on the Field, try your luck in the Calcutta and enjoy plenty of food, drinks and entertainment throughout the weekend.
Camping facilities are available, making it easy to settle in and enjoy the full race weekend. And if your campsite is a little way from the track, don't worry! A courtesy bus is available to get you to and from the races.
With a century of tradition, plenty of country spirit and two big days of racing the Ewan Races are a North Queensland event you won't want to miss!
