The Death of Stalin - Movie Screening
Nimbin Bush Theatre
The Death of Stalin is a darkly funny political satire about the chaos that erupts after Soviet leader Joseph Stalin suddenly dies.
With a power vacuum at the very top, his closest ministers scramble to protect themselves, outmanoeuvre their rivals and decide who will take control. What follows is a ruthless and increasingly absurd battle for power.
Directed by Armando Iannucci and featuring an ensemble cast including Steve Buscemi, Simon Russell Beale and Jeffrey Tambor, The Death of Stalin blends sharp comedy with a grim chapter of Soviet history. Clever, chaotic and wickedly funny, it's political satire at its darkest.
