Cha Dao - Weekly Tea Sitting

Join in the Temple Garden Tea House for an intimate Gong Fu tea sitting, nestled beneath Wollumbin in the lush Tweed hinterland. Guests gather around the tea table to experience exceptional high-mountain teas, prepared and shared with care. What to expect: Cha Dao, the Way of Tea, is a quiet, meditative practice centred around the preparation, serving and appreciation of tea. Guests will be guided through a series of small tea servings, with time to notice the aroma, flavour, warmth and changing character of each infusion. There is nothing to learn beforehand and no experience is needed, simply come as you are. Conversation gives way to moments of quiet as the pace slows, senses awaken and presence deepens to the tea, the landscape and the self.
