Call and Response Workshop

Join exhibiting artist and choreographer Annalouise Paul and choreographer Gülşen Özer for Call and Response, a participatory workshop that extends the themes of the exhibition 'Uncharted Waters. The Journey of Mother Tongue' through movement-based dialogue.
Beginning with a guided walkthrough of the installation led by Annalouise, the program unfolds through a live call-and-response exchange between the two artists before inviting participants into an interactive session facilitated by Gülşen.
Drawing on the exhibition's focus on sacred geometries and the spiral as a symbol of renewal, Call and Response offers a framework for listening, responding, and creating in relation to one another. Through movement prompts, participants are invited to reflect on their relationships with each other and the environments they inhabit, while exploring the possibilities that emerge through collaboration, exchange, and collective care.
No prior dance or movement experience is required—all are welcome.
Children are welcome under adult supervision.
