Puffs the Play Hobart
The Playhouse Theatre
An Exitleft Signature Presentation
Wildly funny. Wildly magical. The global hit comedy for anyone who never got a letter!
While other students are busy saving the world, defeating dark wizards and generally making themselves famous, the Puffs are getting on with the important business of surviving seven increasingly dangerous years at a Certain School of Magic.
Puffs is the hilarious and affectionate unofficial parody that has taken theatres around the world by storm. Packed with clever references, outrageous comedy, ridiculous characters and more than a little magic, it's a celebration of the stories we grew up with, told from the perspective of the kids who were never at the centre of them.
The play for Potterheads!
"I forgot to tell you. Yer a Wizard, Wayne. Also, wizards exist, just like yer British parents... Wow. We gotta talk more."
You don't need to know every spell, character or detail of the wizarding world to love Puffs. But if you do? You're going to love these friendly, loyal, quirky and long-suffering misfits whose heartfelt journey takes the classic story to new places!
A tale for anyone who has never been destined to save the world.
