Budji Bim National Park

Join in for the inaugural Budj Bim Lava Blast Event and experience the mesmerizing trails of the Budj Bim National Park. This unique event promises an exhilarating adventure through one of Australia's most stunning volcanic landscapes, rich in cultural and geological significance. While visiting, discover the rich cultural heritage of Budj Bim and the natural wonders of this ancient, volcanic landscape. Budj Bim National Park is home to a tranquil crater lake, lava canals and caves in a lush bushland setting among Manna Gums teeming with native wildlife, all while soaking in the breathtaking beauty of this World Heritage UNESCO site. Whether you're a seasoned trail runner or a nature enthusiast seeking a new challenge, the Budj Bim Lava Blast Event offers an unforgettable experience in a truly remarkable setting. The Gunditjamara call the area 'Tungatt Mirring' or Stone Country. Macarthur Swimming Pool Committee Inc are extremely proud to bring this event as a major fundraiser for their Sustainabilty Project to reduce power bills and keep the heated pool at a consistent water temperature, even on colder days and hopefully extend the season.
