Disney's High School Musical On Stage
Arts Theatre
Adelaide Youth Theatre is proud to present Disney's High School Musical On Stage! This one is extra special as we are celebrating 20 years since the hit film became a worldwide phenomenon!
Set at East High, Disney's High School Musical follows Troy, Gabriella and their classmates as they navigate first love, friendship, family, school and the pressure to fit in, all while balancing classes and extracurricular activities.
After winter break, basketball captain and popular jock Troy Bolton discovers that Gabriella Montez, the talented girl he met while singing karaoke on his ski trip, has enrolled at East High.
When Troy and Gabriella decide to audition for the school musical, they shake up the established social order and challenge the expectations of their friends and classmates. As auditions begin, students must decide whether to stay in the roles they are expected to play or take a chance and let their true talents shine.
Filled with friendship, humour, romance, energetic dance numbers and unforgettable songs, this high-energy production celebrates being yourself, following your dreams and discovering that everyone has a place to shine.
To celebrate this milestone, audiences are invited to get into the East High spirit and come dressed in RED & WHITE or their favourite Wildcats inspired outfit.
We're All in This Together!
