Town Criers
Lighthouse Theatre
This is the show, where Warrnambool is the star! Comedian Damian Callinan and journalist, Kirsten Diprose, uncover the quirkiest details about what makes your town tick, bringing locals to the stage, where fun and hilarity ensue!
With Damian's comedic knack for finding the unique characteristics of country life and Kirsten's journalistic eye for a good story, Town Criers delivers a fresh perspective on Australia's smaller communities. It's both a live show and a podcast, where local stories are celebrated.
Damian and Kirsten come to a town and really get to know it, before inviting locals on stage to participate in the Town Quiz, there's a snap Mayoral election and a live podcast interview with the local town heroes!
