Roisin McAlinden - Fairytale: Ending
Bard's Apothecary
A funny feminist anti-fairytale. If you've come here looking for happily ever after, you've come to the wrong place. Fairytales turned Roisin into a damsel in distress. This is her revenge.
A rallying cry to women to tell their own stories, reclaim their narrative, and be the crazy ex they wish to see in the world.
Using sharp, feminist and excruciatingly dark humour, Roisin McAlinden processes the end of a coercive relationship by tearing apart the fairytales that convince women to shrink themselves in pursuit of love. But what if fairytales could serve a different purpose?
Directed by award-winning clown and scriptwriter Penny Greenhalgh.
