Housewarming Weekend

Ian Potter State Theatre, Arts Centre Melbourne

The doors are open, the stage is set and it's time to celebrate. As part of the Ian Potter State Theatre reopening season, Housewarming welcomes audiences to take a seat and experience a fast-paced, high-energy performance, repeated seven times for free across one unmissable weekend. Jude Perl, Melbourne's homegrown, award-winning musical comedy star, takes you on a journey, in search of the mysterious Lyrebird missing from the Theatre's iconic red curtain. Directed by acclaimed Melbourne theatre-maker Michael Kantor, scenes of spectacle, fun and wonder unfold, in a vibrant celebration featuring over 100 Victorian artists. Housewarming welcomes you, the audience, home to your stage – the Ian Potter State Theatre. The line-up for Housewarming is spectacular and it's free. Seats are limited, book now.
In a theatrical setup, five cheerful performers stand and pose in front of a red curtain.
