The Geelong Comedy Festival

Geelong CBD

Geelong Comedy Festival is a four-day celebration of comedy, bringing more than 100 comedians to eight venues across central Geelong. From stand-up and improv to cabaret, kids shows, clowning and plenty more, the festival serves up a huge program featuring established Australian favourites, exciting emerging acts and some of the best local talent. One of the things that makes the festival unique is the way it activates different spaces across the city, from bars and breweries to clubs and even the historic Old Geelong Gaol. With venues all within easy walking distance of one another, audiences can catch multiple shows in a night while exploring central Geelong along the way. Now in its fourth year, Geelong Comedy Festival is proudly locally and independently run, with a focus on creating a fun, welcoming atmosphere that brings audiences, performers and local venues together. Whether you are a dedicated comedy fan or just looking for a great night out, there is something for every sense of humour. Popular shows can fill quickly, so booking early is recommended. Grab dinner, see a show, walk to the next venue and make a whole night or weekend of it.
