St Barbara's Festival

Kalgoorlie-Boulder Visitor Centre Tours

The St Barbara's Festival is one of regional WA's largest community events, honouring St Barbara, patron saint of miners, and the industry that the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder thrives on. The Festival celebrates and commemorates in two distinct events; the Miners Memorial Service, a reflective gathering honouring those lost in the mining industry, and the St Barbara's Parade, a street celebration where companies, not-for-profits, schools, prospectors, animals and community groups come together to celebrate the year in mining, leading into the City's Christmas celebrations.
