A special opportunity for mob, allies, community and for families and friends, to connect, to participate, and to gather together on Djandak.
DUMAWUL proudly invites you to celebrate Culture and connect with Djaara People and Country at the Malamiya Mang 2026. This unique program of events, of Cultural happenings, celebrates the deep connection between Dja Dja Wurrung Country and People (the first nations traditional owners of the region), from the past, to the here and now.
Malamiya means long ago and Mang means now in Djali (Dja Dja Wurrung language). The program features exhibitions, workshops, tours, school holiday activities, ceremony, storytelling, weaving and more. All people are welcome to come together in the spirit of sharing, learning and celebrating together.
