TEEKS
Her Majesty's Theatre
To celebrate the release of his long-awaited new music, the award-winning Māori soul phenomenon TEEKS comes to Adelaide.
Raised on everything from traditional waiata and kapa haka to Bob Marley and Sam Cooke, Te Karehana Gardiner-Toi – better known as TEEKS – soared to number one in 2021 with his monumental debut album, Something To Feel.
Now, with over 200 million global streams, 2.5 billion short form video views, and multiple Platinum and Gold projects to his name, TEEKS is set to return with a new sonically captivating body of work as he continues to evolve his deeply affecting blend of soul and R&B.
In June 2026, TEEKS released his first single in more than two years, the playfully vulnerable "My Boy", challenging ideas about queerness and masculinity, signalling a new chapter of emotional candour.
Blending a rich baritone with heartfelt storytelling, TEEKS' performances resonate deeply with audiences who connect with his sincere, vulnerable lyricism and mesmerizing vocal delivery, bringing packed audiences to absolute silence. A performance by TEEKS is a spiritual experience – modern soul from Aotearoa New Zealand.
