Stroud 200 Bicentenary

This November, all roads lead to Stroud to mark 200 years of community, history and connection. Stroud's Bicentenary is a ten-day community-led event exploring the town's founding, its rich heritage, and a story that started long before the town did.
The program includes an Official Opening Ceremony, Bushdance, Heritage walks, the 'Stroud 1826' theatre production, Monastery and St John's Church open days, ghost tours, a progressive dinner, trivia and film nights, poetry and storytelling, a Debutante Ball, and late-night shopping on Main Street.
The program culminates in Back to Stroud Day — a full day festival at Stroud Showground featuring a historic transport show, art exhibition, bullock wagon and sulky rides, traditional artisan demonstrations, rodeo exhibition, market stalls, kids' activities, and an evening concert featuring The Bushwhackers — plus much, much more.
