From within the infinite flow
Counihan Gallery
Curated by Sebastian Kainey, From within the infinite flow brings together five artists navigating the digital systems that shape contemporary life. Works by Amalia Lindo, Clara Chanisheff, Guy Louden, Katie Paine, and Oliver Hull examine the hidden infrastructures, algorithms, and mythologies that underpin how people connect, communicate, and understand themselves.
Through video, installation, sculpture, and sensory experimentation, the artists trace relationships between the body and data, outdated hardware and current networks, and physical spaces and online environments. Once imagined as open and free, these spaces are increasingly governed by algorithms, surveillance, and systems of control that influence your behaviour, identity and even your bodies.
The exhibition asks what it means to examine systems you cannot easily step outside of, and how you might navigate them from within.
