Narrative Therapy Course

Writes of Passage Retreats

Every life tells a story—but many people carry stories that have become overshadowed by loss, disappointment, trauma, self-doubt or limiting beliefs. This Narrative Therapy Course invites you to step back from the rush of everyday life and rediscover the deeper patterns that have shaped your journey. Through reflective writing, holistic biography work and guided self-inquiry, you'll learn how to re-author your life story with greater clarity, meaning and compassion. Rather than seeing yourself as defined by your problems, you'll begin to recognise the strengths, values and wisdom that have always been present beneath the surface. Set amidst the beauty and tranquillity of the Blue Mountains, this retreat combines the principles of narrative therapy with developmental psychology, Carl Jung's depth psychology, life-stage research and holistic biography work. You'll explore your family origins, education, relationships, vocation, life transitions, spiritual development and legacy, weaving together the threads of your experience into a richer and more coherent understanding of who you are. Each writing exercise becomes an opportunity to transform memories into insight, challenges into resilience, and life events into a meaningful personal narrative.
