Rheola Charity Carnival
Rheola Recreation Reserve
The Rheola Charity Carnival is a much-loved country tradition held each Easter Monday in the historic goldfields township of Rheola. With more than 150 years of history, the carnival brings together locals and visitors for a full day of classic Australian fun, community spirit and fundraising.
Step back in time and experience one of the region's most treasured events while supporting a great cause. Proceeds from the day go directly to the Inglewood and Dunolly hospitals, the Rheola Public Hall and Rheola Pioneer's Park.
This is a day that feels proudly unchanged, where children can run free and families gather to enjoy simple pleasures. Expect a lively program of traditional attractions including woodchopping, sheep dog trials, foot races, vintage displays and live music throughout the day.
With plenty of food, laughter and relaxed country charm, the Rheola Charity Carnival captures the essence of a true community celebration. Nostalgic, playful and welcoming, it's an experience that continues to be passed down through generations and one that remains at the heart of the region's identity.
