Queensland Dinosaur Week is an annual state-wide celebration of prehistoric discovery, science and storytelling, inviting visitors to explore Queensland's globally significant fossil heritage. Anchored by National Dinosaur Day, the week brings together fossil-rich communities, museums, researchers, tourism operators and educators to showcase the state's extraordinary dinosaur, marine reptile and megafauna stories . Through guided tours, hands-on fossil digs, exhibitions, family events and The GREAT Queensland Dinosaur Trail, the event positions Queensland as Australia's leading destination for palaeo tourism while driving visitation, education and pride across regional communities.
