The Kapunda and Light Agricultural Society Incorporated hosts the Kapunda and Light Agricultural Show, a much-anticipated annual event that truly brings the local community together. Highlights of the show include the popular Horses in Action, Horses in Harness, Showjumping, Hacking, sheep dog trials, and impressive livestock exhibitions. Community members of all ages participate in competitions ranging from the ute muster to displays of locally grown produce, cooking, and crafts. The event also features art exhibitions, providing a platform for emerging artists. The Kapunda and Light Agricultural Show not only entertains but also educates, providing opportunities to learn about farming and industries.
