Variety Kids Carols

Tolosa Park

The Variety Kids Carols returns to Tolosa Park, Glenorchy in 2026 for another joyful afternoon of Christmas cheer! Designed specially for families with younger children this afternoon carols event brings together children, parents and grandparents to sing, clap and dance to festive favourites like Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and Frosty the Snowman. Hosted by John X with live music from the Glenorchy City Brass Band and a cast of Tasmanian guest performers from radio, stage and television. Bring a picnic rug and snacks, settle in and enjoy a relaxed celebration designed to wrap up in plenty of time for kids to be home for bedtime. Plus a very special appearance by the man in the big red suit will add extra sparkle for young hearts. Tickets are just $10 with children aged 5-15 $5 and children under 5 admitted free of charge. Food, soft drinks and fun festive merchandise will be available for purchase. Gates open at 10am with Carols performances starting at 11am. All proceeds from the event will support Variety The Children's Charity Tasmania to empower local kids who are sick, disadvantaged or living with disability to enjoy a future without limits!
