Sunday Roots & Blues at The Rising Sun - Don Morrison
The Rising Sun
Join The Rising Sun each week from in the front bar for Sunday Roots & Blues — an easy afternoon of live music, local wines, cold pints and good company. Each Sunday features a different roots, blues or acoustic artist from South Australia and beyond.
A stalwart of Australian blues, Don Morrison has performed for over four decades in countless bands including The Bodgies, The Elmores and Don Morrison's Raging Thirst. He's been awarded for songwriting and roots recordings, released more than a dozen albums, and shared stages with Midnight Oil, Men at Work and Hunters & Collectors. Don will represent South Australia at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis in January 2026.
Our weekly Sunday roast will be available with all the trimmings, available from 12pm until sold out. This week we're serving Roast chicken maryland, lemon and thyme.
