Lithgow Arts Trail

Lithgow Region

The Lithgow Arts Trail is a free, self-drive tour held on the first weekend in November every year, inviting you inside the private studios of talented local artists to watch them at work, learn about their creative process and purchase original artworks directly from the people who made them. Whether you're an art lover, collector, or simply looking for a unique day out, the Trail offers a rare behind-the-scenes experience celebrating the diverse talent that makes our 7 Valleys one of NSW's most creative regions. This year, we are opening the Union Theatre Gallery in Bridge St, Lithgow, with a collection of artwork from each of our participating artists, to allow you to better plan your Trail. With over 30 artists, in both studio's and galleries to visit across our 7 Valleys, from charming historical Hartley, industrious Lithgow and progressive Portland, to the peaceful canyon of Capertee Valley, it is a big weekend not to be missed! Join them on the Lithgow Arts Trail and discover the creativity, stories and inspiration behind the 7 Valleys' vibrant arts community.
