Green Hill Adelaide Indie Author Book Festival 2026

Plant 4

It's all free. And its fun! Green Hill Adelaide Indie Author Book Festival, held near the heart of Adelaide, is a celebration dedicated to fans of independent books and the authors who create them. This unique festival brings together writers, publishers, and readers for a full day of discovery, connection, and inspiration. It offers an inclusive platform where independent voices can be heard and celebrated, creating an unmissable event for lovers of original writing and storytelling. What makes the festival distinctive is its focus on empowering indie authors and connecting them directly with their audience. Visitors can explore new releases, engage in insightful discussions, and attend book launches that showcase fresh perspectives and diverse genres. The atmosphere is designed to foster creativity and collaboration, making it an inspiring meeting point for those passionate about independent publishing. Set adjacent to Adelaide's iconic West Parklands, the festival is just a 5-minute tram or train trip from treasures such as the State Library, the South Australian Museum, and the Botanic Gardens. The Festival venue, flooded with light, is a repurposed 'saw-tooth' roofed industrial plant, alone worth the visit. You can look forward to enjoying, coffee and entertainment on the day. Visitors are invited to explore the festival and speak to the authors behind the books.
