bruny NORTH

bruny NORTH is a contemporary gallery and creative space located at Dennes Point, on the northern tip of Bruny Island (Nuenonne Country), Lutruwita / Tasmania. Housed in an architect-designed building by John Wardle and brought to life through the hands and heart of the local community, the gallery presents a thoughtful program of contemporary exhibitions and workshops by Tasmanian and Australian artists, designers, and makers. With a curatorial vision grounded in sustainability and cultural resonance, bruny NORTH celebrates slow, place-based practices that respond to the island's distinct identity. Alongside its exhibitions, the space hosts workshops, artist talks, film nights, festivals, and residencies, nurturing emerging voices and fostering dialogue across disciplines. More than a gallery, bruny NORTH is a destination and an active part of the island's creative ecology. They advocate slow tourism, inviting visitors to connect deeply with place, process, and people. Follow on Instagram for exhibition updates, events, and island life.
