Mayfield Day
Dangar Park
Mayfield Day returns as one of Newcastle's most loved community events at Dangar Park in Mayfield. Presented by Mayfield Business Improvement Association in partnership with the City of Newcastle, the event brings together local businesses, families, and visitors for a full day of connection and entertainment.
Visitors can explore a wide range of food and beverage vendors showcasing local flavours and seasonal favourites. The event features market stalls and pop-up spaces where local makers and small businesses share their products and services. Live music and special performances create a vibrant atmosphere throughout the day.
Families can enjoy a relaxed day out with free children's activities including creative workshops, entertainment, and face painting. The event is designed to be welcoming for all ages and encourages people to spend time together in a community-focused environment.
Pet-friendly spaces allow visitors to bring their dogs along for the experience. Picnic areas and open park spaces support a relaxed, social setting for friends and families.
Mayfield Day highlights the uniqueness of the Mayfield community by showcasing local talent, supporting small businesses, and creating opportunities for people to connect in a central public space.
