The Art of Pastry

The Art of Pastry

Anita Robin, in Goolwa, South Australia, offers hands-on cooking classes for food lovers seeking a refined and engaging culinary experience. In this four-hour pastry masterclass, guests step into a creative kitchen environment to prepare up to eight savoury and sweet pastries. Designed for both beginners and experienced bakers, the class combines technique, creativity and the satisfaction of producing a full selection of pastries to enjoy. What sets Anita apart is her personalised, immersive approach. Led by Swiss-born instructor Anita Robin, whose international experience informs every session, participants are actively involved in each step, building confidence and precision. The focus is on understanding methods and ingredients while creating beautiful, flavourful results. Each guest leaves with a recipe booklet, making it easy to recreate their pastries at home and share them with friends and family. Set in the coastal town of Goolwa, the experience is enriched by nearby beaches, the Murray River and a vibrant local food scene. Visitors can explore markets, wineries and scenic landscapes, adding depth to their culinary visit. With a focus on seasonal ingredients and thoughtful preparation, this class reflects both place and passion. A distinctive cooking experience ready to be discovered.
