Heart of Gold International Short Film Festival

Gympie Civic Centre

Welcome to Australia's biggest regional short film festival, Gympie's very own Heart of Gold International Short Film Festival. Each September you can experience brilliant short films, live music, talks, workshops and more. An international arts festival that is grounded in the community. Right here in the Gympie region. In 2026 Heart of Gold celebrated 20 years as the foundational arts and cultural event in the Gympie region. Celebrating not only links to history, also aspirations for the future and the integrity of the human spirit.
