ASBK Australian Superbike Summer Championship - Round 2
Shell V-Power Motorsport Park
The Tailem Bend-based circuit has produced superb racing over recent years, where the likes of Jack Miller, Senna Agius, Joel Kelso, Josh Hook, Marcel Schrötter and Kyle Ryde have all contested ASBK events.
The Bend, officially opened in 2018, is one of the premier circuits in the world. The 18-turn international layout used in the ASBK Championship provides massive variety – blind turns, sweeping corners, hard braking zones and areas for maximum acceleration – which makes it anything but a walk in the park. It's the degree of difficulty which makes it such a formidable challenge for riders and a bonanza for spectators.
Phillip Island started the new Australian Superbike Summer Championship, but wild weather left its final race unfinished.
Now all eyes turn to South Australia.
For the first time this summer, all six ASBK categories come together at The Bend. Five championships launch their seasons, while Australia's premier Superbike class continues an intense title battle with just three points separating the leading contenders.
From junior racing's rising stars to Supersport NextGen, Superbike Masters and the country's fastest Superbikes, it's the first complete weekend of a new summer racing era.
And with MotoGP coming to Adelaide in 2027 and WorldSBK to The Bend in 2028, this is your opportunity to discover Australia's motorcycle racing future before it goes global.
