Enjoy a chartered sail on the historic ship, Julie Burgess, followed by a nature walk around the Lagoon before indulging in delicious local cuisine and beverages at the classic Italian Verona restaurant. Day 2: Embark on a challenging two-day walk through Narawntapu National Park, capturing unique wildlife photos along the coastal trail. In the evening, enjoy a chat with the locals over a drink and dinner at the Beauty Point Waterfront Hotel, featuring fresh local seafood, then relax in your own cosy cabin for the night, ready for the next day’s adventure. Day 3: Traverse remote beaches, scenic headlands before ending your walk at Greens Beach. Indulge in a traditional Aussie barbeque dinner with local beverages, while sharing stories from your adventures. Day 4: Indulge in wine tasting at Swinging Gate Vineyard, then a delightful lunch at Rosevears Hotel, Tamar Valley, before departing for Launceston, carrying cherished memories of the journey.

Every Thursday from 0930-1330 . Join your local tour guide, Saikim (Sai) on a 10 km. loop walk that starts at Mersey Bluff Lighthouse, Devonport. The guided walking tour includes a coastal walk past Back Beach, along Don River, the Don Railway Station and return. The track is gravel and well formed, suitable for general levels of fitness. Wheel frames and walking frames are not suitable for this tour. Sai will enthral you with the fascinating timber, maritime and steam train history as engage you with flora identification, bird spotting and animal spotting along the way. After the tour the group are welcome to enjoy a coffee at the Drift Cafe, Devonport that overlooks the stunning Devonport Beach. This is a great introduction to Northern Tasmania, a region that is away from the tourist crowds and gives visitors an experience of the warm hospitality of real Tasmania.
