Benalla Street Art Festival
Benalla Street Art Festival
Watch a town turn into a masterpiece with the Benalla Street Art Festival.
In April 2027, Benalla will come alive for three unforgettable days as the Benalla Street Art Festival transforms the town into a vibrant open-air gallery. Watch world-class artists at work, see towering murals take shape before your eyes, and experience the energy of a festival that fills every street, laneway and corner with colour, creativity and excitement.
Following a record-breaking festival, the event returns bigger and bolder in 2027, curated by renowned contemporary art leader Simon Grant. Expect a fearless program that pushes boundaries, brings fresh global perspectives to regional Victoria, and gives visitors every reason to turn a day trip into a long weekend.
With more than 85 striking murals and installations already woven through the streets, the 2027 festival adds new stories, fresh walls and standout international talent, cementing Benalla as Australia's premier regional street art destination. It's the kind of place where one stop quickly turns into a full day of exploring — and one visit is never enough.
From live mural painting and artist workshops to guided walking tours, local hospitality and a weekend atmosphere unlike any other, the festival invites everyone in — whether you're a devoted art lover, a curious explorer, or simply looking for a vibrant and unforgettable escape.
